Apart from Kwame A-Plus, the Sarkcess music boss, Michael Owusu Addo aka Sarkodie is also known for his constant attacks on politicians with his kinds of music he releases sometimes.
Sarkodie was on John Mahama and his NDC’s neck releasing songs after songs when they were in power but since Nana Addo and his NPP took over, Sarkodie is pretending as if he doesn’t stay in Ghana anymore. He is quiet as if he doesn’t know how difficult the Ghanaian economy has become.
His quietness started generated controversies on social media as rumours were being spread about him that he, Sarkodie is not talking about how the NPP is destroying our economy because he is an NPP member.
However, he has finally broken his silence. According to the rapper, he stopped because he realised his approach to such matters was becoming frustrating as he kept repeating the same things.

“People keep asking? Sark why you not talking about the economy? You are NPP right … No!!! I’m not but sometimes it gets frustrating repeating same things you say but I have a better route to go about it … and plus those songs came to me I didn’t force them” he said.
