Mugeez of the famous R2Bees music group sharing his views on how credible award schemes in Ghana are says he didn’t come into this life for music awards.
According to Mugeez in a tweet, award schemes are funny as hell, he tweeted, “ManKind No Come Into This Life For Music Awards.. that ish is funny as hell .. don’t attach Urself to it .. just do da music .. it’s embarrassing charley”.
Mugeez is of the view that musicians shouldn’t attach themselves to it ─apparently, he thinks music awards aren’t credible anymore hence his tweet.
The music group, R2Bees got 3 nominations in this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards which marks the 20th anniversary of the award scheme.
From the look of things, Mugeez doesn’t give a hoot about award schemes in Ghana anymore looking at controversies surrounding such schemes.
