Africa’s most decorated rapper, Sarkodie has taken to his official Facebook page and flaunted his 21 VGMA plaques with the aim of motivating and thanking his loyal fans who made it possible for him to achieve this enviable feat.
According to Sarkodie, it’s not to show off his VGMA plaques but to appreciate his fans for their support, dedication and loyalty throughout his musical journey.
The boss of SarkCess Music added that even though he doesn’t need awards to prove he is a good rapper but he needs more awards to honour his die-hard SarkNatives.
Sarkodie so far has bagged 21 awards at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards ─including 2 “Artiste of the Year” awards and he’s likely to win the “Artiste of the Decade” at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards if voting goes into his favour.
