Shatta Wale has been mocked by Nigerian singer Davido for copying his grand entrance onto a performing stage during last weekend’s 3Music Awards.

Wale levitated from the ceiling towards the stage in an entrance which has been praised for its ingenuity.

However, the idea was the same one utilized by Davido during his historic performance at the O2 Arena and the Nigerian singer, after seeing Shatta’s entrance, took to social media to mock him.

Davido posted: “Shatta I love you but…”, adding laughing emojis to the post.

Davido’s revelation that Wale’s entrance was one he used himself not long ago once again opens him up to charges of hypocrisy. It wasn’t that long ago that Wale self righteously slammed Ghanaian directors for copying from Nigerians and threatened to beat any of them who disagreed with his assertion.

Well, barely a few weeks later and Wale copied an entrance recently used by Davido, a Nigerian. Who’s going to beat him now?
