Shatta Wale shocked ‘fans’ over the weekend during the 3 Music Awards as he shed tears onstage whilst receiving one of his numerous awards.

Wale was so emotional over winning a C-list award such as the 3 Music Awards we wonder what he’ll do if he wins at the VGMAs!

Of course, Wale’s emotions exposed him once again as a hypocrite following all the noises he has made in the past about not needing any awards.

There are many times in the past when Stonebwoy won an award and Shatta Wale made noise on social media that all he cares about is money and doesn’t need awards. In fact, in one of his rants, he said all he needs is his money, cars and house and awards are useless to him.

Yet fast forward to last weekend and Wale was so emotional at winning an award you would think it was a Nobel.

Social media is not making him forget his past misdeeds. On Instagram, Bigscout Prempeh posted a screenshot of Wale’s past comments denigrating awards.

“MI NO NEED NO AWARD MI NO NEED NO AWARD BUT U DEY CRY FOR SUM PLUS FREE PERFORMANCE 😂😂😂 Nigga is too fake😂😂😂” Prempeh wrote.
