Manchester United Name Caretaker Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as Permanent Manager on a 3 Year Contract

Manchester United have appointed interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as their full-time boss after a four-month impressive stint in charge of the team.

Solskjaer took over the team as caretaker in December after Jose Mourinho was sacked, and has since gone on to revive the club’s fortunes and reinstate them in the fight for top four.

In return, the club’s management has decided to hand him a permanent, 3-year deal.

Solskjaer, who has lost only 3 of 19 games in charge, expressed his delight to the club’s official website upon his appointment.

“From the first day I arrived, I felt at home at this special club. It was an honour to be a Manchester United player, and then to start my coaching career here,” he said.

“The last few months have been a fantastic experience and I want to thank all of the coaches, players and staff for the work we’ve done so far. This is the job that I always dreamed of doing and I’m beyond excited to have the chance to lead the club long-term and hopefully deliver the continued success that our amazing fans deserve.”
