There’s no doubt that Ghana is a country riddled with a million and one problems, problems that politicians campaign on solving but then do nothing about once they get the sweet power that they crave.
Ghana might be a stable democracy but the standard of living is so high and basic amenities so broken down that it’s a hell of a country to survive in.
John Dumelo, who has made it clear that he considers himself a future politician, has long been proposing one solution to all of Ghana’s problems.
According to him, agriculture is the one size fits all solution to all of Ghana’s problems.
“Agriculture has the answer to most of Ghana’s problems. Most of our imports are agro-based. Imagine Ghana having large factories producing rice, meat products, tomato paste etc? There will be no need to import, we will export our surplus,” he said.
“It’s also important to note that these factories should be wholly Ghanaian owned. Change starts with us. Let’s start small in our own way to make agriculture great again!”.
