We are not sure whether Belinda Nana Ekua aka Mzbel will ever be able to put her political party lenses and colors somewhere and focus on her dead music career.
Mzbel became the subject of social media mockery and trolling when she fully endorsed President John Dramani Mahama ahead of the 2016 election and vigorously campaigned for him. The insults she received when NDC finally lost was painfully severe.
Mzbel’s music career has taken a nose dive for a very long time and the number of times she has attempted to resurrect it has proven futile. Even though on the face she looks unperturbed deep down it is worrying her.
Mzbel has boldly stated at the sidelines of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards nomination launch that she is not releasing any music again in Ghana until John Mahama becomes President in 2020.
