Gospel artiste manager, Kwesi Ernest has fired shots on Ghanaian pastors who have been playing secular music in their churches.
We’ve seen some Ghanaian pastors who have been playing Highlife and Dancehall kinds of music in their churches which some of them are Reverend Obofour, Angel Obinim and just recently, another video popped in which some members in Ashaima Official-Town located Church were captured jamming to Stonebwoy’s “Pko Keke”.
Reacting to this during an interview on Joy Prime, Kwesi Ernest stated that the house of God must remain sacred from all ‘immoral activities’ no matter how big or smaller the place is and it’s only the idiot pastors among them who will entertain.
He supported his opinion with a quotation taking from 2nd Corinthians 6:14-17 that a good Christian should not have anything to do with unbelievers or someone who doesn’t believe in the Christian religion.
It reads: 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15: And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16: And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17: Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
Kwesi Ernest explained that Paul wrote this letter to the people of Corinthians when they started going wayward from the word of God.
