Three years ago, rapper Elorm Adabla shocked the entire country when he won the artist of the year at the 2016 VGMAs, beating the overwhelming favourite for that year, Bisa Kdei, to the big award.

According to him, he’s past that level now and is concentrated on more important things in his career.
“VGMA is an award but there are important things than an award. When you get to the [level] I am now you will realize there are more important things.
“When you win an award it’s a plus, people will see you and recognize you for winning. But there are [more] important things, that’s why I’m not focusing on VGMA again.” he said.
