There’s a distinct number of Ghanaian celebrities who are not in relationships, particularly the female ones. Each and every one of them has their own reasons for their current status.
Some are single and searching, some are single and not searching, whilst others are also single, searching yet not finding.
One of the only female rappers in Ghanaian music, Eno Barony, has categorized herself as part of that third group, who are interested in dating but are unable to find the man they need.
According to her, she believes it’s because many men find her intimidating and are therefore unable to approach her to even ask her out on a date.
Eno made these comments during an appearance on Hitz Fm.
“Some of them [men] think the way I am… maybe, I’ll beat them or something. They are scared of me … you know, [because] I am a tomboy,”
If any man is really scared of asking her out, the rapper didn’t really say anything to reassure them. Instead, she added that she knows she’s very strong-willed and therefore any man who comes to date her must be even stronger willed than she is.
“You see me I need a guy who can rule, lead, respectable, you know what I mean. The way I am, if you are a very soft guy I might overrule you,” she added.
