The 2019 edition of the VGMAs are just around the corner and as surely as night follows day, we’re going to have disgruntled fans of various artists complaining about their artists not winning after the show is over.
In fact some artists make those complaints themselves, as we saw from a very annoyed Patapaa when he lost song of the year to Fancy Gadam at the 2018 VGMAs.
However, CEO of organizers of the awards, Charterhouse, Theresa Ayoade, has called on Ghanaians to vote for their favourite artists rather than to keep on complaining.

According to her, voting is how you ensure your favourite wins and therefore that’s what the public must do.
She, therefore, called on artists to get their fans to support them by voting.
“It’s about getting your fans to vote when nominations are put up,” she said on Fox Fm.
“Your fans have the power to vote so stop complaining and expecting it to happen by magic.”
