The Police Service of Ghana are aimless and useless, according to Ghanaian rapper Kwaw Kese, otherwise known as ‘Abodam’.
This week marks five years since his former manager, Fennec Okyere, was killed in cold blood by unknown assailants at his residence in Spintex, Accra; assailants who have never been found to this day.
Kwaw Kese has always complained about the inability of the police to find Fennec’s killers, and in a rant on radio this week, has berated them for always concentrating on useless things whilst being unable to solve real issues like Fennec’s murder.
‘Abodam’ narrated a story where the police stopped him to search his car for weed, angry that they are concentrating on such useless matters when a high profile murder like Fennec’s has not been solved.
“Ghana police is not reliable. The other time I was on my way to an interview I saw the police behind me…I stopped and they said they wanted to search for weed in my car…meanwhile, my manager Fennec Okyere has been murdered mysteriously and the police are not even serious about investigating his case and finding the killers,” he said on Neat Fm.
Abodam added that the police should focus on “conducting investigations when matters arise. That’s what is important.”
