Another bigwig of the opposition party in Ghana, National Democratic Congress(NDC) has once again passed away at the Ridge hospital this morning.

Dr. Kwabena Agyei, who has been a long-standing member of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), has passed away this morning. This was confirmed by Kwame Sefa Kayi on his ‘Kokrokoo’ Show on Peace FM.

Before his demise, Dr. Kwabena Agyei served his country and party in many ways. He lectured for years at the University of Ghana, served as Minister of State under the NDC at different ministries and also as the Chairman of the NDC. He together with his General Secretary Asiedu Nketia brought back NDC into power in 2009.

Dr. Kwabena Agyei passed on this morning at the Ridge hospital after being ill for a while. May his gentle soul Rest In Perfect Peace.
