Often times, we are advised to tread well— live a life that society loves and permits and do away with what you might personally love. We have allowed society to set some standards and rules for us that makes us even miserable by abiding by them.
This is often backed by the fact that if we don’t live the life society wants us to, we might live our latter days regretting about the choices and mistakes we made by riding solo. Well, Lydia Forson is here to tell you not to allow people to talk you into living a certain way because of what they presumed would go wrong or not. She says live the life, make mistakes and learn from them.

“I’m in my 30’s and I still look back at my 20’s and have a list of things I wish I hadn’t been too scared to do.
Allow yourself to make mistakes, learn and grow from them. But don’t live by anyone’s rules but your own; it’s better to look back and be glad you did than regret you didn’t. So yes, be responsible, learn from other people’s mistakes if you can and listen to their advice BUT do NOT let them cage you into living a sheltered life full of fear.”
