Back in the late ’90s and early ’20s when Ghanaians were gradually developing interests for rap music, there was no show without inviting artistes like Lord Kenya and the one and only storytelling hiplife rapper, Okomfour Kwadee.
These musicians ruled Ghanaian rap music for years until they stopped doing active kinds of music due to various reasons. Lord Kenya stopped because he was called by God to preach his word. Okomfour Kwadee, on the other hand, fell sick for years.
Their records still remain unbroken even though Kumasi can still boast of some talented rappers like Flowking Stone and many more.
However, the Bhimnation boss, thus Ghana’s living finest Dancehall artiste, Livingstone Etse Satekla, also known as Stonebwoy has stated clearly during an interview on a Kumasi-based Luv FM with DJ Reuben that Kumasi has never known any bigger artiste than Okomfour Kwadee.
Stonebwoy landed in Kumasi about 24 hours ago ahead of his show scheduled to be performed today, 8th March 2019.
