A few days ago news went viral that veteran rapper Yaa Pono had decided to give some life advice to students of the University of Ghana, during a recent performance he had at the school.
Pono’s unconventional advice to the students was that if they needed any help to study, they should simply ingest some weed.
That advice has gotten him into trouble with a counsellor known as Oscar Siripi.
Siripi, in an appearance on Daybreak Hitz, angrily tore into Pono for telling students to smoke weed.
According to him, there’s a problem in Ghana where people who behave in a negative manner are giving all the attention and such people are able to influence the youth.
He said that should not be the case and parents should make sure people like the Uptown Energy boss cannot influence their kids with their immoral behaviour.
