Yaa Pono
Saturday 2nd March 2019, the University Of Ghana Campus was on flames because most the Ghanaian reigning musicians stormed there to thrill them as they celebrated their Pent Hall Week19.
One of the musicians who was also invited to entertain the students was our own weed addicted Tema-based rapper, Yaa Pono aka Ponobiom.
In the middle of his performance, he paused and started sharing some of his drug-addicted life experiences with the students who were then eager to listen to whatever he was about to tell them.
Unsurprisingly, Yaa Pono who can burn ‘weed’ like bush fire in the harmattan season said, “You are attending Legon and your mum is spending a lot of money if you are finding difficulties in learning, just smoke some tampi aka obonsam tawa”.
