Yet another tragedy has hit the Ghanaian entertainment industry as the death of a veteran Kumawood star has been confirmed.
Asuo Tano, who played numerous roles in movies and other drama series, passed away in the early hours of Monday, February 25th 2019.
Sources close to Tano’s family have confirmed the death, which occurred at a hospital in Accra where the infirm actor was receiving treatment.
Tano starred in the super popular ‘Kyeiwa’ film series, as well as many other productions throughout his career.
Much like last year, this year has started with some notable deaths hitting the industry. After Ebony last year, Anokye Supremo died a few weeks ago, followed by this recent demise.
May he rest in peace.
