Award-winning Ghanaian Afrobeats/Hiplife artiste and the headliner of Money Making Movement Records (Tripple M-Records), Akoo Nana has revealed that an investor wanted to invest in the Ghanaian music industry but he stopped because of how ‘unstable’ the industry has become.
The “Me Yada Wo” hitmaker Akoo Nana, also revealed that another reason why the businessman changed his plans was because of how the CEO of the embattled Zylofon Music and it’s boss, Nana Appiah Mensah was treated.
“I know an investor who wanted to invest in some Ghanaian artistes but he has rescinded his decision because of this Nana Appiah Mensah issue.”
He added that even though Nana Appiah Mensah has been facing challenges as far as his businesses are a concern but his support for him is still very strong.
“I’ve known Nana Appiah Mensah for years. He is like my brother. My support for him has been there since,” he disclosed this when he was called to an interview on Hitz 103.9 FM’s Daybreak Hitz Show.
