Tell people you fell in love with someone at sight and people would label you nothing but someone who watches way too many romantic movies and read Harlequin Romance books. If love, at first sight, does not exist, what really does?
Is it not what we feed our eyes with on sight that urges us to want to know about someone. It could be anything, any other emotions that have nothing to do with love but the possibility of falling irrevocably in love with someone on sight cannot be under-emphasised.
Nigerian author and lawyer Reno Omokri has a thing to say about love at first sight. He says that remains in writing but never in real life. According to Reno, people make the colossal mistake of getting married to men they seldom know all in the name of love at sight only to rue at the end of the day.
