There is a healthy number of female Ghanaian celebrities who are yet to get married despite already having a kid and getting on in years. For most of them, it’s not that they aren’t interested in getting married but that they can’t seem to find the right man ready to put up with their lifestyles and abrasive personalities.
For many of these, we imagine if you asked them if they are still interested in marriage they’ll say yes, but Mzbel says she’s different and not interested in marriage anymore.
The Jamestown bleaching queen who has made a career out of erotic songs has revealed in a recent interview that she’s not interested in getting married because Ghanaian men want their women to be submissive.

According to the singer, Ghanaian men love to use the Bible as a cover to claim God wants women to be submissive and thus their wives must submit to them. Mzbel said she’s not ready to do that for any man.
The singer has one child whose father has remained a mystery to this day and from the look of things, he’s not going to get a sibling anytime soon.
