Ghanaians might soon not have to deal anymore with the loudmouth, insensitive and controversial member of Parliament from Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong.
Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has revealed that he’s planning on retiring soon instead of having any plans to further advance his political career.
The oft-controversial legislator revealed his future plans on an appearance on Adom TV Tuesday.
He was asked if he has any plans on becoming speaker of Parliament and he replied that he’s interested in his businesses rather than getting himself more entangled in politics.
“I want better work to go and do and relax and you are talking about being a speaker. Speaker they worry you everyday…I am not ready,” he said.
When the host kept pressing him about it he exploded: “What do I want it for. Young man, you want me to speak but I won’t say anything. I am doing my business and you say what? I have no interest in anything at all…business is my focus.”
The MP added that he’s considering leaving his seat after 19 years of representing Assin Central but he’s under pressure from his constituents to run again.
