Hiplife rapper, Nana Kontinhene has said artistes in the Ghanaian entertainment should learn how to keep the industry going and stop putting all the burden on the government.
Nana Kontihene made this statement when he was invited to an interview on Citi TV’s “Hall of Fame” show with the sit-in-host, AJ.
According to him, artiste should be proactive and stop waiting for the government to bring out help policies for the industry because the government will never help.
He stressed that the only way to get the industry going forward is to maintain peace and artistes should offer assistant to their colleagues when needed.
“We have to support ourselves. We are the government. We are too powerful. If you keep waiting for someone to come to your aid that is when you get disappointed. I think the power is in our hands,” he said.
