Exactly one year ago today news broke out that Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng, the sensational Ghanaian singer who had released so many hit songs, had passed away through a road accident.
Her accident brought back a lot of memories as to why road accidents still continue to wipe away a lot of Ghanaian talented artists; talk of Suzzy Williams, Terry Bonchaka, Kwame Owusu Ansah etc.
Every death is painful but Ebony’s was in a league of its own because it was just a week to her birthday and most importantly, she was the biggest musician in Ghana as at that time yet within a twinkle of an eye she was wiped away from the surface of the earth.
