‘Aboa Ba’, ‘Gyimii’ — Alhaji Muntaka Mubarak and Kennedy Agyapong ‘Dirty’ Each Other on the Floor of Parliament — VIDEO

The floor of parliament turned into a warzone as two of the most fiery Members of Parliament from the opposing NDC and NPP — MP for Asawase Hon. Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak and MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong — nearly came to blows.

The two MPs clashed after the former raised a motion on the floor of the house calling for his brash colleague to be referred to the Privileges Committee of Parliament for his alleged role in the death of investigative journalist Ahmed Hussein-Suale.

Muntaka said Hon Agyapong had brought the house into disrepute due to his actions against Suale and his words led to the Assin Central MP being referred to the Privileges Committee, which deals with the conduct of members of the house.

“I make this complaint of contempt of Parliament against my own colleague for the embarrassment and uncalled for comments and incitement of the public against a member of the public that unfortunately led to the death of the gentleman.” Muntaka said Tuesday.

The businessman cum politician was highly pissed off over Muntaka’s actions and thus confronted him which led to both losing their cool and exchanging uncouth words.

Muntaka called Kennedy ‘gyimii’ (foolish) and ‘aboa ba’ (child of an animal) whilst the Net 2 TV owner threatened to make Muntaka’s life a living hell.
