There was a time a while ago when public proposals gone wrong became a thing and you couldn’t go a week without hearing one story about it.
Looks like that is back in fashion once again because this is the second or third public proposal gone wrong we’ve heard of in just the past couple of weeks.
This one reportedly occurred in a mall in Lagos. A dude proposed marriage to his lady and she said yes!; but their happiness was quite shortlived as the lady’s reported main boyfriend showed up after to disrupt their joy.
He angrily could not believe that the lady had accepted someone else’s proposal and verbally attacked both his girlfriend and the side due.
Onlookers shot video of the moment, which went viral. It’s not clear what exactly the lady is going to do now, which of the two guys she’s really going to marry.
Some are of the opinion that the whole thing is simply staged for publicity and if it is, that wouldn’t be the first time it’s happened so it’s hardly surprising.
