Kennedy Agyapong Blaming Anas For The Death Of Ahmed Is Senseless — Washington Post Journalist Karen Attiah

Published by

A Ghanaian investigative journalist, Ahmed Suale was gunned down by unknown assailants during the late hours of 16th January 2019 around Madina, a suburb in Accra.

Concerning his death, all hands are being pointed at the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong who on his Net2 TV disclosed Ahmed’s picture and went ahead to incite violence against him.

Kennedy, on the other hand, has denied these allegations and has rather accused Ahmed’s partner, also an A-listed Investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas of killing his partner.

However, according to Ghanaian Washington Post journalist Karen Attiah, reacting to this matter on her Twitter page, Kennedy Agyapong accusing Anas is nonsensical and total madness.

She wrote: “Serious question for Ghanian media: Why do these platforms allow politicians to make threats and unsubstantiated rumours? Agyapong called publicly for Ahmed to be beaten. Now Ahmed has been killed. Agyapong is now blaming @anasglobal. Insane!” she wrote.
