Kumawood uprising actress, Maame Serwaa has become the first in the Kumawood movie industry to appear on the British Broadcasting Company (BBC) for an interview.
An interview granted by BBC to find out about some of the challenges and achievements of the young actress since she came into the Ghanaian movie industry.
Asked to disclose how she became an actress, the young legend said, “It was through my late mum who took me to a movie set when I was six years old and I was called to play a role for someone who didn’t show up and since then I became a movie star.”
Again, she was asked to reveal some of the biggest challenges she faced starting her acting career at that early age. “There were a lot of pressure and difficulties, combining my education with my acting was very stressful but God being so good, I did it,” she answered.
