Family members of the late undercover journalist, Hussein-Suale Ahmed who was assassinated by unknown gunmen around Madina, have promised to hunt down Hon. Kennedy Agyapong if the Police fail to come out with a good report about his killing.
Kennedy Agyapong during one of his appearances on Net2 TV was captured revealing the location of the late journalist and where he lived, “Boy a oy3 very dangerous, oti Madina ha yiaa s3 mo shia no wo babiaa mo paa paa nasom, oba premises ha a mobo no, eka ba metua…” When translated into English, “Ahmed he is a bad boy, he lives in Madina, wherever you meet him, give him some dirty slaps, if he ever comes to our premises beat him up. Whatever happens, I will pay because he is bad, that Ahmed…”
According to the family of the deceased, Mr Kennedy Agyapong was the one who issued such threats to Ahmed, a step which put their boy’s life in danger. So if today Husein has been murdered by unknown men, they have nobody to blame than to point fingers at Kennedy Agyapong.
“What we demand is justice from the government. We know the honourable Kennedy Agyapong who issued threat on our brother is behind this thing but we want the law to take its course.
“We hear the police is telling us that we should come with evidence. Please, this is a state matter. The Police should act now and let us know.
“We are giving them less than one week to tell us what is happening otherwise we will also react. We know how to get him. Ghana belongs to all of us, no one is above the law. What we need now is justice but when justice fails, we will also react”, they stated.
