Samini has lavished some very high praise on dancehall star Stonebwoy, revealing that what he has achieved so far pales in comparison to what he still has to achieve.
Speaking in an interview on Accra Fm, Samini said what is yet to come from Stonebwoy is far more impressive than whatever Ghanaians have seen so far as the ‘Top Skanka’ hitmaker has not even reached a quarter of his potential.
Over the past decade or so Stonebwoy has truly been one of the top achievers in the Ghanaian industry, with multiple local and international awards as well as features with some of the biggest names in Reggae.
His biggest achievement so far was being crowned the Best International Act Africa at the 2015 edition of the BET Awards.

It’s no secret that hiplife and dancehall legend Samini has been a very influential figure in the rise of Stonebwoy to cult status, bringing him up through his High Grade family before he landed on his feet as the Ashaiman ‘Hero’.
It’s not a secret either that both Samini and Stonebwoy have had to deal with the nuisance of Shatta Wale, and thus Samini was surely targeting ‘Gbee Naabu’ with his comments about the future potential of Stonebwoy.
Samini also talked about beefing and how it helps the industry to stay ‘hot’.
“…You should expect them (diss songs) and then it is up to you to know how you respond and how constructive you approach it,” Samini added.
