‘Ebony’s One Year Anniversary Postponed’ — Starboy Kwarteng Reveals

Obviously, Ghanaians are waiting to celebrate the one year death anniversary of the late female dancehall sensation, Ebony Reigns who died in a gory accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi highway.

Ebony aged 21, died alongside her bodyguard, Frances Atsu Vondee and her female friend, Franky Kury around the late hours of February 8th 2018.

As Ghanaian custom demands, family, friends and sympathisers are expected to gather for the one year anniversary of their deaths but as we speak, father of Ebony, Mr Opoku Kwarteng aka Starboy Kwarteng has postponed the anniversary.

He announced this during an interview with Abeiku Santana. According to him, the anniversary has been shifted to March 2019 but they are yet to decide on the exact date.

“It was supposed to be next month but I have shifted it to March, so we have about two more months to go. I haven’t fixed the exact date yet but it will definitely be in March. We are working on that collectively, it’s not just me. Her mother is in Ghana as I speak so we are yet to decide,” he disclosed.
