The death of Ruff Town Records signee Ebony Reigns on 8th February 2018 sent shivers down the spine of a lot of people in this country most especially her family, record label, her fans and music lovers in general.
Nobody ever thought for a second that such a young, vibrant, energetic, absolutely gifted and talented artiste who was at the prime of her career and about the biggest artiste in Ghana at that moment would have her life cut short in such a horrendous and terrific manner. Ebony Reigns’ death was extremely painful, but it happens and such is life so we had to deal with it and move on.
After a long hiatus from the camp of the girl’s father who has been at the centre of all the negative controversies and media bash after the death and burial service of his daughter, Mr Kwarteng is back with his usual controversies as our new year present, blaming his daughter’s manager Bullet the least opportunity he gets in the media for everything that led to the girl’s death.

Mr Kwarteng is back and this time he has found a new record label that is going to be in charge of releasing all the songs Ebony Reigns left behind. In answering a question as to whether he will love if Bullet will be a member of his team he said Bullet announced a replacement for Ebony the day they took awards on Ebony’s behalf at the VGMA which made him really sad and heartbroken so he does not think Bullet will have time to come and support him at his record label as he is busy with his artiste. He made this revelation when he had an interview with Okay Fm’s Abeiku Santana.
