If we’re to listen to ‘Gbee Naabu’, then he’s the only rich musician in Ghana and the rest are just paupers chewing gari in secret whilst pretending to be rich in public.
And the way Wale and his fans brag, you would think he’s the richest man in Ghana and everyone else is just living in his shadow.
However, Wale is currently owing promoter and artist manager Kwesi Ernest some money which Ernest is pissed off about and has vowed to retrieve from Wale by hook or crook.
As everyone remembers Wale was billed to perform at the Christmas holiday program ‘Bliss in the Hills’ alongside several other artists but he was a no-show despite many fans attending thinking they would get to see the dancehall star.
Wale had reportedly already been paid to perform at the event and despite failing to turn up to perform, he has also refused to pay Ernest his money back.
Speaking on Onua Fm, Ernest, who made headlines for aggressively pursuing Joyce Blessing when she owed him money in a similar situation, revealed he would do all he can to take his money back from ‘Gbee Naabu’.
“Shatta Wale was fully paid and he later requested for extra amount , His manager told me Shatta Wale was in Kwahu around 8pm but according to his manager, Shatta Wale was not comfortable with the hostel we provided for him so he got angry and drove to Accra.” he said.
He added that he’s an ‘expert’ in debt collection, therefore, he’s going to do all he can to get his money back.
