NPP top member, Gabby Otchere-Darko is facing the wrath of Kumawood Movie star, Kwaku Manu for speaking badly about the state of Ghana’s Movie Industry.

Gabby, a few months ago, trashed Ghanaian movies and discredited them on his Facebook page after watching a few of them.

He said, “I took my time to watch randomly ten Ghanaian movies and never felt so disappointed,” he posted on Facebook.

He added that “It brought home to me one major deficiency in our development. The apparent lack of deliberate consciousness on the part of the creative industry in the development conversation,”

This statement by Gabby made almost all the actors and actresses in the movie industry very angry. Some of them didn’t spare at all, they blasted him in all their social media handles.

However, Kwaku Manu who hasn’t spoken about this has finally spewed his opinions out during his appearance on the ‘Dining With Cooks and Braggart Show’ with actress Yvonne Okoro.

According to him, since Gabby had nothing to offer in reshaping the ailing movie industry, he shouldn’t have said anything against it.

He continued that for a Ghanaian politician to compare Ghanaian Movie to that of Hollywood in America, is absolute nonsense.
