After many months of going ‘underground’ the vibrant and controversial father of the late dancehall songstress Ebony Reigns, Nana Opoku Kwarteng, is back to the spotlight.
And Starboy Kwarteng, as he’s affectionately known, is definitely back with a bang!
He appeared on Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon Fm today and he spoke about a lot of issues, most notably the yet to be released songs of his late, phenomenal daughter Ebony.
Starboy Kwarteng revealed that he plans to form the record label KWARBONY Records (obviously an amalgamation of Kwarteng and Ebony) which would release all the new songs of Ebony.
The label is yet to be officialized but they are in the process and he would be the CEO when formed, Starboy said.
He also said he would determine in the future whether to sign any other artists unto Kwarbony but for now it would solely be for releasing new Ebony singles.
The first song off Kwarbony was ‘Be Your Driver‘, which was released over the festive period. Starboy maintains he’s yet to receive most of the songs Ebony wrote before she died as promised by Bullet.
