History is going to be made later this year when the 2019 African Cup of Nations come off in Egypt.
The Black Stars have been prophesied to win the competition by one man of God, whilst another man of God says we can never win it.
We know that no matter what happens – God wins.
Anyway, the Afcon was initially slated to be hosted by Cameroon, but the Confederations of African Football (CAF) stripped them of the hosting rights, citing safety and security concerns in the Central African nation.
Earlier today, a vote was held to determine the new hosts and between Egypt and South Africa, the North Africans won the bid.
The 2019 Afcon comes off between June and July, and would see Kwesi Appiah’s team fighting for Ghana’s 5th Afcon and our first senior trophy since 1982.
