Abraham Attah Lands Role In Upcoming Hollywood Movie

Abraham Attah has managed to land himself another Hollywood feature as most of our ‘big’ actors sit in Ghana and scratch their balls waiting for acting gigs that are just not there.

The young star, who shot to fame after starring in the Netflix production ‘Beasts of No Nation’ alongside Idris Elba, has been cast as the lead in an upcoming immigrant drama to be shot in Texas known as ‘Tasmanian Devil’.

The movie is about a Nigerian immigrant, played by Attah, who suffers to bond with his estranged father after moving to the United States, according to the Hollywood publication Deadline.

His father had abandoned him and his mother in Nigeria many years earlier to travel around as a missionary, and the two struggle to reconcile after Attah’s character’s relocation to the States.

The movie would be the directorial debut of Solomon Onita Jr.; and would be produced by Tricia Woodgett of TigerEye Films and Executive Produced by Benny Boom and Gerald Rawles.

Abraham Attah’s unlikely story continues to blossom year after year. After coming from obscurity to star in ‘Beasts’, Attah’s life completely turned around, winning numerous awards and relocating to the States where he has since landed a role in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’.
