Dr Bawumia
The Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has been involved in an accident in the Northern Region, where he’s currently present to attend the funeral of the late Ya-Na.
The convoy driving the Veep and a taxi run into each other on the Yendi-Tamale road earlier today, according to the website of the state-owned Graphic newspaper.
The taxi driver came off worse after the collision, with the driver and a passenger in the car both said to be in critical condition.
The Vice President is not believed to have sustained any injuries.
Dr Bawumia is in the Northern Region to attend the funeral of Yaa Naa Mahamadu Abdulai.
