The amount of interesting stories coming out of Ayawaso West Wuogon over a simple Parliamentary by-election is outstanding.
John Dumelo flirted with the idea of running for the seat for a long time, decided to run and then pulled out after being found ineligible.
But if one big name has dropped out another is joining. The son of former President John Agyekum Kuffour, Edward, has decided to run for the seat.
Edward Agyekum Kuffour filed his candidacy for the by-election at the NPP constituency office on Sunday, December 23rd.
Edward, the second son of Ghana’s second President of the 4th Republic, submitted his forms at the Dzorwulu office of the party Sunday.
He’s contending to replace the late Emmanuel Agyarko, the party’s MP who died only a few weeks ago.
