A team of appointed members from the Department of Early Childhood Education, University of Education – Winneba (UEW) has paid a courtesy call on the C.E.O of Endpoint Homeopathic Clinic, Dr. Adu Boateng.
Led by the Head of Department, Mr. Samuel Oppong Frimpong, the team visited the renowned healthcare practitioner to express the University’s appreciation for his immense and continuous support towards the institution.
Dr. Adu Boateng has over the years assisted the university as an alumnus in numerous ways, including building a modern day care with resource centre for the institution.
In his address, the leader of the team, Mr. Frimpong stated that the main objective of the mission was to visit the University’s former student and officially show appreciation for all the wonderful things he has been doing for the school.
He said even though Dr. Boateng is an old student of the University, the school is still with him and vice versa in all things.
According to Mr. Frimpong, UEW is celebrating its Silver Jubilee so it’s prudent on its part to pay a courtesy call on Dr Boateng and appreciate him also.
Dr. Boateng welcomed and thanked the team members for taking time out of their busy schedules to visit him. According to him, he was touched and overwhelmed by the visit and the items presented to him, especially within this time of the year.
He said; “It’s an amazing feeling that that the university I’m so proud of and contributed to my success appreciate the little things I’m doing to help the school.”
“Seeing my lecturers here is the biggest surprise of my life, let alone adding material things to it,” he said.
According to Dr. Adu Boateng, this will encourage him to do more. He continued, “This is a signal that the University appreciates the little things I’m doing. Even the thought of it to visit me tells me the school notices everything I’m doing.”
He used the opportunity to advise all alumni of UEW to occasionally visit the school and thank their lecturers for contributing to who they are currently. This, he said, would go a long way to motivate the lecturers in their line of duty.
Dr. Adu Boateng has over the years won several awards as a health practitioner and a philanthropist. He is the C.E.O of Endpoint Homeopathic Clinic, a multi-specialist private clinic with five branches – Accra, Kumasi, Tema, Techiman, and Takoradi – specialising in physiotherapy, sonography, laboratory test, and homeopathic medicines.
