Patapeezy, Kuami Eugene, Kwesi Arthur And Many Other Stars Perform At Star Studded MTN Festival Of 9 Lessons And Carols

The Christmas season can never be completed without a festival of 9 lessons and carols, and as the years go by companies and organizations continue to put their best into holding one that becomes the talk of town.

On the night of Friday, December 21st, MTN held their annual Festival of 9 lessons and carols at the Fantasy Dome of the Trade Fair Centre.

The show was hosted by Foster Romanus and was a rousing success, as the assembled crowd were regaled with a mix of comedy and music, as well the readings of the nine lessons and carols.

The Fantasy Dome was filled with an excited throng and there was scarcely a dull moment all night.

The night was lit up by the billed artists who performed a mixture of carols and some of their biggest hits, with artists such as Kwesi Arthur, Kuami Eugene, Kaakyire Kwame Appiah, Adina and Patapaa all performing.

A cross section of celebrities and business leaders read the nine chosen Bible verses including Slip Music CEO Mark Okraku Mantey, Black Stars assistant manager Maxwell Konadu and celebrated lawyer Kofi Abotsi, among others.

After every reading, the choir regaled the crowd with chosen carols and were then joined by a Ghanaian artist. The biggest cheers of the night went up when Kuami Eugene, Kwesi Arthur and Patapaa all came up on stage to perform. Kaakyire Kwame Appiah also spiced up proceedings with his legendary Christmas song ’24 (Ko Wo Krom), whilst Patapaa is undoubtedly going to trend this week for his unique performance of ‘Jingle Bells’.

After an incredibly successful pre-screening of Aquaman, MTN provided another night of fun and camaraderie for Ghanaians, bringing the best Christmas experience to their customers with a unique take on the concept of the festival of 9 lessons and carols.
