Shatta Wale’s ‘Ghana Is A Village’ Comment Appears In End Of Semester Exams For UDS Students

Shatta Wale’s “Ghana Is A Village” comment which he made during his stage performance at the 02 Arena in the United Kingdom, London has appeared in the semester exams of students offering Fundamentals of Human Geography at the University of Development Studies, UDS.

The question which carries 16 marks states:

“Charles Nii Armah Junior,. a Ghanaian Producer and popular dance-hall musician popularly known as ‘Shatta Wale’, recently described Ghana as a ‘village’ during a performance in London. With reference to your knowledge about the development problems of villages, state five reasons why Shatta Wale described the whole of Ghana as a village”.

This has generated debates on social media and rekindled the never-ending debate as to whether Ghana is a village or not.
