Even though the Ghanaian laws do not permit the smoking of weed and anyone who smokes weed could be arrested and dealt with according to laws of this nation.
Ghanaian rapper, Yaa Pono regardless of the illegalities surrounding the smoking of weed, has disclosed that he gets his musical inspirations from smoking weed.
The Tema based rapper disclosed this during an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak show with Andy Dosty. According to him, his music morale won’t be up if he has not heated his body with weed.
“My lyrical inspiration comes from smoking weed. I smoke heavily before I enter the studio but it’s not something I do daily. I only smoke when it’s time for recording,” Yaa Pono revealed.
