Reggae Icon Buju Banton has been home since Friday, December 7 after spending seven years imprisoned in the United States. Buju was convicted of drug trafficking on February 22, 2011, in Tampa, Florida.
Buju’s then 11-year-old daughter, Abihail Myrie (now 18) asked the court to give her father a second chance because she could not grow up without her father. “I can’t imagine a life without my father. I would really appreciate if you would give him a second chance,” she child reportedly wrote.
A Picture that has been shared several times has Buju and his daughter Abihail in a sentimental mood as they hug it out after all these years.

Abihail wrote;
“I’ve imagined what this moment would be like, replaying it over and over again in my head but now I can stop imagining because that moment is finally here,” Abihail wrote. “It’s so real and I can’t even find the words to express how I feel. I missed you so much I’m so happy to finally have you here. My heart is so full. How’d you make an exact replica of yourself though?? TWINNING!”
