An Islamic group with Facebook page “The Today’s Muslim” thanking the Vice President for this act of kindness posted;
“The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia gifts the National Chief Imam a brand New Toyota Avalon Customized C IMAM 1 on the occasion of his 61st Annual Maulid Celebration.
#Maulid is a yearly Celebration marked by Tijanniya Muslims to celebrate the birth of the Holy Prophet Mohammed(SAW).

May Allah Continue to make our Country Peaceful and as well spare the Life of the National Chief Imam for a lot more years to Come”.
