Akuapem Poloo has admitted pretty much that she likes fooling because she knows Ghanaians only pay attention to foolish acts and that’s the only way for her to trend.

Rosemond Brown, in a recent interview, said she has been acting for 9 years and Ghanaians never took any notice of her, yet since she started doing stupid things on social media she has become one of the most popular celebrities around.

Poloo thus said that’s why she would keep fooling till the end of time because that’s how she maintains her popularity.

Speaking with Cheers Entertainment, Brown traced her entry into the industry. She said after her education she came to Accra to fulfil her dreams as an actor but no one took any notice of her.

“After school, I decided to go to Accra and make a living so I ventured into acting of movies. I was featured in a lot of movies but I didn’t become popular until I started doing the stupid things that I am doing now,” she said.

“I started taking half-niked videos, talked about Efia Odo and Fela Makafui issue, Moesha’s case, John Dumelo and other issues pushed me to the limelight. Nowadays, people invite me to a lot of programs. I have won two awards [through my fooling].”

Poloo added that she doesn’t mind doing those kinds of stupid things because not only does it make her popular but she believes it helps people to relieve their own worries.
