The Multimedia Group has been hit with another earth shattering blow as actress and presenter Joselyn Dumas has quit her role with the network’s flagship channel, radio station Joy Fm.
Joselyn Dumas has resigned her position at the radio station, mere months after joining to help steer the channel’s Drive Time.
Dumas has so far been co-host of Joy’s Drive program alongside Lexis Bill, but has now stepped down from her role.
According to head of programes at the station, Kofi Ansah, who confirmed the move, Dumas resigned because of a lack of time to carry out her duties at the station.
According to him she wrote to them that she wanted to leave her post because it was conflicting with her acting and production duties.
“… [Joselyn] took a decision to end the relationship officially due to her busy schedule. She has a lot on her plate now and happens to be shooting episodes of her shows outside the country which means she will be out of town for longer periods and she felt it wasn’t fair for us to be paying her when she’s mostly unavailable to be on the Drive Time show,” he told GhanaWeb.
“So officially she’s written to us to abrogate the contract but there is still an informal relationship so you will be hearing Joselyn on the show every now and then,”
Dumas joined Joy in March this year.
Her exit closely follows the shocking news reported Wednesday that Kofi Adoma Nwanwani had also left his position at another Multimedia channel, Adom.
