Investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas has rubbish claims by critics that he used an insurmountable amount of money to trap former president of the Ghana Football Association, Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi in his Number 12 expose’.
Anas strongly believes that Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi was eager and desperate to take bribe at the detriment of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and so for people to say he trapped Nyantakyi is neither here nor there.
“Who trapped who? He was eager to take big cash and took the cash and say I have entrapped him. How? He questioned at the recent Media Festival held in Takoradi.
The boss of Tiger PI threw the challenge to all those who think he trapped Mr Nyantakyi to dig deep into the law or sue him since that’s the only institution to decide whether he erred in his investigations or not.

“Unless anybody claims the tape was doctored and that was never the case. They can test the law courts and that is the beauty because my work stands judicial scrutiny and I have been cross-examined by a team of lawyers over what I do”, Anas disclosed.
He also disclosed that since his work isn’t about individuals, he is not ready to meet the banned Ghana Football Association (GFA) president, Kwesi Nyantakyi.

“I have not come face-to-face with Nyantakyi after the release of Number 12. The exposé was not about individuals but systems and institutions…we are about 54 people, 34 referees. I did not individualize the investigations. I have not met him and not looked out for him. I don’t usually do that”, he added.
