The NPP Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko, has died.
The MP passed away late Wednesday (Ghana Time) after suffering an illness.
Emmanuel Agyarko was in the United States receiving medical care for his ailment when his untimely demise occurred.
He was 60.
A trained pharmacist and medical doctor, Agyarko won the Ayawaso West Wuogon seat in 2012, replacing current Chief of Staff Frema Osei Opare in the seat. He won reelection in 2016.
He is survived by a wife and seven children. May he rest in peace.
